ESTIMATOR

This is a part-time or internship position that would assist our estimating staff. The person hired for this position will assist the project manager in initial sequencing of construction activities, outlining components such as labor, materials and equipment. You are responsible to ensure that the work environment is productive between the project manager, others and yourself. Finally, you are responsible for improving All Seasons Landscaping’s processes overall. You are to support that effort. Never forget that we make or lose money in the field. Our role is to support the field operations in the ways outlined. That is where our risk of loss and / or opportunity for gain resides.

Responsibilities:

• Estimating of projects in a range from $1,000 to $2,000,000
• Detail oriented
• Prepare all cost estimates, material takeoff data, labor costs
• Attend client meetings with company president or director of operations
• Monitor budgets, updates, correspondence
• Experience in commercial projects
• Able to read blueprint drawings
• High level of mathematical competency
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers during bidding process
• Complete accurate budgets based on conceptual drawings & written narrative
• Work with high-end clients doing conceptual estimating on exciting projects
